The Ultimate Break: Explore Island Life on lovely Peng Chau

Our popular Island Life tour will get you to a part of Hong Kong you have been meaning to visit–and you’ll experience it through the eyes of an island dweller.

 

Learn the history and explore the secret places of a lost in time island with local resident Daisann McLane, New York Times and National Geographic journalist. Taste some delicious dim sum and enjoy the best views, visit secret beaches, and finish with a private oceanfront tea tasting.

 

Price: 750 HKD per person for 3 hours, 850 per person for 4 hours (if you want to have lunch or dim sum, we recommend a 4 hour booking). Tea treats and snacks included, food and transport not included. Minimum booking 2p, maximum 4 p

The Island Life Mini-Escape for Residents/Expats

 

  • Time: 3 to 4 hours (flexible timing, please Whatsapp us and we’ll give you options)
  • Date: Wednesday-Sunday
  • Meeting place: Outside the Ferry Pier in Peng Chau, Hong Kong (take the ferry from Central Ferry Pier 6 in Central, HK–25 minutes to paradise!)
  • COST: 750 HKD per person for 3 hours, 850 HKD per person for 4 hours. Two person minimum, four person maximum.

 

Adults and children over 12 only. We need a minimum of 2 persons for a booking so if you’d like to come, grab a pal!

 

NOTE: This tour can be modified to be VEGAN FRIENDLY (please let us know in advance).

  • Enjoy one of Hong Kong’s best ferry rides on a breezy open deck
  • Learn about Chinese tea during a tasting at home on a private roof overlooking the sea
  • Discover the island’s many secret beaches on an island roundabout walk
  • Optional: Lunch at a Cantonese foodie favorite tucked away on the main street OR lively outdoor dim sum with the locals on the waterfront
  • Shopping: Weekend guests can enjoy a stop at a traditional antique store owned by a local Chinese art expert, a visit to one of Hong Kong’s last remaining shops where porcelain is hand-painted, and a cool cafe/vintage shop with mid-century treasures from around the world.
  • Farming: We have farms on the island, and during harvest season you’ll be able to buy freshly picked vegetables and fruit straight from the source!

You’ll meet local characters, soak up the island vibe, and maybe even begin to daydream about moving to a little house overlooking the sea……
